Today marks the somber 94th anniversary of the Halifax Explosion.

I promised a while back in the challenge to post a photo inside St. Paul’s Church and there was no better day to do so. It is incredible that this church, built in 1750, survived the Halifax Explosion relatively unscathed with the exception of some broken windows and this piece of wood from another building that became lodged in the front wall. It serves as a reminder of that terrible day on December 6, 1917.
